Okay, maybe a little over the top, but…
I know that clothing and the way we dress can help us boost our confidence or they can make us feel insecure and not as good about ourselves. Based on that, I am going to work on getting new clothing and accessory items that have been heavily worn and need replaced and wear clothing that I want to wear so I can dress who I want to represent. will start by getting one item at a time and get clothes and accessories that I like, feel good when I where them, and they represent who I want to be that day and this will help boost my confidence.
1)My weight for this week:
I am okay with my weight even though I know it is the same as last week, I know it will be the same and fluctuate, but again, I have to keep reminding myself, it is a marathon not a sprint!
2)My Goal for this week:
CLOTHES: BEFORE I START ADDING TO MY WARDROBE, I AM GOING TO ORGANIZE MY CLOSET THIS WEEK SO I FEEL GOOD WHEN I WALK IN MY CLOSET AND NOT TO FEEL OVERWHELMED AND DEFEATED BEFORE I EVEN PICK OUT HOW I WANT TO DRESS WHO I WANT TO BE FOR THE DAY.
CLOTHES THAT I MIGHT WANT TO ADD.
3)I added the following clothing items for my B.O.B. this week:
Clothing: The goal for this week is to put 3 days of clothing in your kit and include the clothes that you are wearing. We are going by the philosophy that something is better than nothing and we are packing a bag to stay at family or friends, a hotel, or a shelter where we are protected from the environment. You obviously want to have clothing or gear ready to help in any extreme situations, but getting the basic items together is our priority right now.
Ideally, you have items in your closet that you can use for this purpose. The first step is to put together clothes for 3 days.
Some suggestions are a lightweight long and/or short sleeve shirt, a comfortable pair of shorts and/or pants depending on the climate that you live and comfortable pair of socks, undergarments, and a comfortable pair of walking shoes.
I put a short and long sleeve shirt, 2 pairs of leggings, under garments, socks, and comfortable walking shoes in my kit. I haven’t concentrated on the material at this time since I just wanted to continue building my 72-hour emergency kit. I will focus on that another time when I have completed it.
