PREPARE FOR THE WORST, HOPE FOR THE BEST!

imageIn 2002 we had to rebuild our house after a tornado hit our neighborhood. We were very lucky that nobody was hurt or killed. Nobody even lost a pet on our street! A rainbow did appear in the sky after the storm. That’s always a sign of hope. We saw the love and kindness from family, friends and people we did not know who offered to help in any way they could. We saw the goodness of the human spirit after such destruction.

imageWe created this website because we know the topic of emergency preparedness can be overwhelming and most people do not know where to start, so they don’t.  Since we fit that category of people, we decided to learn what the first step is to be better prepared in the event of an emergency and share the information and some products that are recommended to help us and hope that it might help you too.

imageThe first recommended step to take is to have a family plan and personal 72 hour emergency kit for you and every member of your family including your pets  if you need to evacuate quickly in an emergency situation. Even if you don’t need to evacuate you will have some items on hand that could help ease any situation. It could also come in handy anytime if you want a snack or first aid item from your kit (but just remember to replace it quickly!).  It wouldn’t be fun to need it and not have it! Your 72 hour emergency kit is like an insurance policy, hopefully you never need to use it, but it’s sure great to have if you do, along with a little extra “peace of mind”.

Since we know how important it is for everyone to have their own personal emergency Go Bag or also called Bug Out Bug(B.O.B.), we sell pre-made BOB’s, pet emergency kits, water bottles, water filters, and many more wellness and readiness products. We will continually be adding products and information, so please check back regularly for new products and updates. Thank you for visiting, we really appreciate you!
